There are a number of named distributions
as well as three custom distributions that can be defined and
evaluated with the add-in. The links below transfer to pages
that describe each one and provides formulas defining the distributions,
formulas for the mean and variance and examples. The dialog presenting
the distribution options is called by choosing the Add Random
Variable option from the Random Variables menu.
Although the dialog accepts parameter values, these may changed
directly on the worksheet. Click on a link below the figure to
learn about specific distributions. |
